“Please help us!” — Woman breaks down over sister, other NYSC members abducted in Kogi

A lady has broken down in tears while appealing for the rescue of her sister and other NYSC corps members who were reportedly abducted along a road in Kogi State.

The lady said her sister, an NYSC member who had left the orientation camp in Bayelsa State, was among the corps members reportedly kidnapped while travelling along the Kogi route.

According to her, the abductors struck after the driver of the vehicle was allegedly killed during the attack, leaving the corps members at the mercy of their attackers.

Appearing visibly distressed, the lady called on Nigerians and relevant authorities to help secure the release of her sister and the other abducted corps members.

“Nigerians, please help me! My sister, an NYSC member who left the Bayelsa camp, has been kidnapped alongside other corps members,” she said in an emotional appeal.

The incident has sparked concern over the safety of corps members travelling to their places of primary assignment, with calls growing for urgent efforts to locate and rescue those abducted.

The identities and current whereabouts of the victims have not been disclosed.
